Mike Stone serves as Senior Pastor.
Mike Stone serves as our senior pastor. He
originally came to Emmanuel in October of 1996 as minister
of music and became our pastor in 2002. He is a graduate of
Valdosta State University and is completing a Masters of Divinity
degree from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. He has served
in various positions in the local Baptist association as well
as in the Georgia Baptist and Southern Baptist Conventions.
Pastor Mike lives in Blackshear with his wife,
Andrea, and their three children, Michaela, Andrew and Sarah.

Ashley Lewis serves as Associate Pastor.
Ashley has been on the staff at Emmanuel Baptist
Church since January of 2003. Ashley received a bachelors
degree from Georgia Southern University in 2001. He completed
his Masters of Divinity with specialization in Biblical Languages
in the fall of 2005 from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.
He is married to Johanna Lewis, they have
one daughter – Morgan Olivia Lewis. |

Rhon Carter serves as Worship Pastor.
Rhon has been on the staff of Emmanuel Baptist
Church since February of 2006. Rhon received a BA in vocal
performance and a minor in piano from Brewton Parker College
in Mt. Vernon, Ga.
Rhon is married to Vickki and they have a
son, Barhon. Rhon enjoys riding motorcycles, creating music
and spending time with his family. |

Wendy Peacock serves as Preschool Director.

Christi Jones serves as Nursery Director.

Tommy Lloyd serves as the Administrator.
Tommy has been serving Emmanuel Baptist Church
since January 1998.
Tommy is married to Beth and they have two
sons, Thomas and Mark. Tommy loves spending time with his
4 grandchildren.

Lynn Harris serves as our Education Pastor.
Lynn joined our staff in July, 2007. He previously served as a bi-vocational education pastor in Wayne County and as an interim education pastor at Offerman
Baptist Church in
Pierce County. Lynn also serves in various Sunday School related positions with our state convention.
Lynn enjoys hunting and other outdoor activities. He
and his wife
Susan live in Screven and have a son and daughter-in-law, Brandon and Donna, and a daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Kevin.

Philip Tyre serves as our Student Pastor.
He previously served as minister to children and students before being called to Emmanuel. He is a graduate of Georgia Southern University and is currently
working toward a Masters of Divinity in Christian Education through New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.
Philip lives in Hoboken with his wife Emily,
and their little girl Mea Grace

Joey Taylor serves as our Mission Pastor.
Joey joined the staff of Emmanuel in November of 2007. He accepted the call to the ministry in March 2001 and began serving in the full time pastorate in January of 2003. He has pastored two Georgia Baptist churches and his current position at Emmanuel is to plant a church in neighboring Brantley County.
Joey lives in Nahunta with his wife Christina and their three children, Jacob, Noah, and Sarah.
